Fold MCP connects with your AI tools to bring your personal finance data to them, so you can build your own workflows, ask the right questions, and make better decisions.

Step 1: Upgrade
Fold MCP is available as part of Fold Plus annual and Believer subscriptions.
Step 2: Enable MCP
Head to your Profile → Settings → Beta Playground, then enable MCP access from there.
Step 3: Set up
Follow the steps below for the AI app you’re using to set up Fold. Other apps have a similar process.

Pick your app below and follow along.

// Step 1 — Add the connector
Go to Settings → Connectors.
Click + and choose Add custom connector.
Set the name to Fold.
Set the Remote URL to https://mcp.fold.money/mcp.
// Step 2 — Authenticate
Click Add to open Fold authentication.
Enter your Fold phone number, including the country code.
Verify using the OTP.
// Step 3 — Finish
You’re ready to go.

I understand Fold MCP is an experimental beta feature and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
I understand Fold may introduce additional pricing or subscription requirements for MCP access in the future.
I understand Fold MCP is intended for personal use and evaluation.
I will not attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or restrictions.
I understand that access may be revoked at Fold’s discretion.
I understand responses generated through AI tools may contain inaccuracies and should not be treated as financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
I understand that I am enrolling in an early access program and may be asked to provide feedback, participate in testing, and report issues to help improve Fold MCP and other experimental Fold AI features.
I understand that by using Fold MCP, my data will be shared with the third-party AI platform I choose to integrate, and that such platforms may retain and use this data according to their own policies. I agree to review their terms and conditions, and I explicitly acknowledge that Fold will not be liable for any use, misuse, or retention of data by these third-party platforms.
I accept full responsibility for the security of my local hosting environment and acknowledge that Fold is not liable for actions taken, data retained, or errors made by third-party AI clients.
I agree not to build, launch, distribute, or sell any product or service that uses Fold MCP to provide substantially similar functionality, redistribute Fold MCP data, or expose Fold MCP capabilities to third parties without prior written approval from Fold.
